Shipping container shop for use as retail stores | Pop-up Containers & Container Conversions

We have recently received several enquiries to convert shipping containers into retail stores. People are looking to use either new and used containers as pop up container shops for the consumer market. As we say, “from shipping to shopping”!

For a traditional layout, we have devised a standard specification for our 20ft (open plan) retail unit containers as follows:

– double-opening glass pedestrian doors (fitted behind the original container doors)

– laminate flooring

– spot-lighting (10 ceiling lights)

– electrics (including 8 double-gang wall sockets)

– full insulation and panelling (walls and ceiling)

– 2 x heaters

– exterior painted in colour of choice
